Die Walkure

An Opera all about gods and heroes of myths and legends from Norse mythology. This is the second installment of Composer Richard Wagner's "Ring Cycle" that weaves a tale of tragic and forbidden love.

My responsibility for this opera consisted of working with the charge to learn paint treatments, mixing textures, mixing paints, keeping track of volume of textures/paints used on scenery I was leading the process of, leading the treatments of certain scenery, teaching the apprentices wherever necessary, writing out processes and techniques for touch-up, organizing materials, and understanding when different techniques need to be used to speed up the process.

Projects led: Wall and floor treatments, groundcloth treatment, and interiors of trees.
